A Bit About Meghan
Meg brings a grounded, steady presence to the therapy space and understands the impact of both lived trauma and chronic exposure to high-intensity environments, including crisis work. In sessions, you can expect Meg to integrate warmth, curiosity, and humor with evidence-based approaches.
Meg believes therapy works best when it feels like a real, collaborative relationship. She works to create a space that feels warm, non-judgmental, and supportive, while also helping clients build insight, recognize patterns, and develop tools that support meaningful change outside of session. Meg aims to help clients feel more connected to themselves, more confident in their ability to cope, and more grounded as they move through life’s challenges.
If you often feel overwhelmed, stretched thin, or weighed down by anxiety, burnout, or past experiences, Meg may be a good fit for you. She enjoys working with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Meg uses EMDR and sand tray therapy to help clients process trauma in a way that feels safe, supported, and approachable. She is especially passionate about helping clients make sense of experiences that feel overwhelming, hard to organize, or difficult to put into words.
Of note, Meg has 10 years of experience working with victims of crime and law enforcement and 20 years of experience at both the personal and professional level working alongside and in support of military families.
Meghan has her Master of Social Work in Clinical Practice with Families and Children from Monmouth University
