Jessica Housel

As a Case Management Intern at Honeybee Psychotherapy & Behavioral Health, Jess enjoys helping clients navigate everyday challenges by connecting them with resources, reducing barriers, and breaking big goals into manageable next steps. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from UNC Chapel Hill, Jess is now pursuing her Master of Social Work at UNC Wilmington, where she continues building the clinical skills that support her passion for helping others.

Jess enjoys helping people discover approaches that work with their unique strengths rather than expecting them to fit someone else's mold. She has a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent adolescents and adults and values creating collaborative relationships grounded in curiosity, encouragement, and authenticity. Whether she's helping someone find resources, problem-solve barriers, or celebrate progress along the way, Jess strives to help clients feel understood, supported, and capable of creating meaningful change. Jess hopes clients leave interactions with her feeling less overwhelmed than when they arrived and more confident in their ability to navigate whatever comes next.
